More leaked photos of the upcoming Nokia Lumia 929 have showed up online, this time giving us a detailed look at the new device in high resolution. The exclusive Verizon 4G LTE network branded smartphone is rumored to now have a release date window of late November to early 2014.
New leaked photos of the Windows Mobile device showed up online at WPCentral Monday (Nov. 4). According to WPCentral, the Lumia 929 is currently undergoing Verizon testing, an indication that its release date is near.
Nokia was expected to launch the Lumia 929 at its October 22 event, but has yet to make an official announcement. The 5-inch Lumia 929 will replace the popular Lumia 928 and is expected to run Windows Phone 8 Update 3 OS.
Additional revealed specs include an AMOLED display with a resolution of 108 x 1920, a 20 MP PureView back camera and 32GB of internal storage. Powered by a 2.2 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, the Lumia 929 is expected to support LTE, Qi Wireless charging and NFC.
Windows Phone enthusiasts may have to wait a while longer for the Lumia 929, as earlier reports of a November 8 release date appears to have been pushed back. Its larger sibling device, the 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520 is rumored to be released exclusively to AT&T on November 15.
